I take that back I haven't read they cant see it, just that it is a very mild light which mimics moonlight and provides night temperatures and also that it doesn't bother them. In the case it does, no moonlight lamp!

Hmm, well the breeder I got the animal from uses 10.0 and that's the only lamps he had in stock. Pet shops here have really poor choices, next to none. I couldn't even find a moonlight bulb :/ So I just go with the best I can find for now. The guy even gave me a Nekton MSA supplements for free...
