    Emerald Tree Boa

Hey guys, Here is an Eddie Marino creation. I can't find his birth card but he is either an f3 or f4 and is tame as a dog - not kidding, I guarantee he is one of the mellowest Northerns you've ever seen. He's got a lot of nice white on him that's clean up to the neck with a high frequency of...

Using What You May Already Have

Brad, Funny you should show this. I've got two similar cages I plan on doing the same thing to when I get a chance to pick up what I'm looking for. A buddy of mine rigged cages that way and used it for a Walking Stick enclosure a few years back. Worked great.

(Warning) Necropsy Photos - Gout (Pseudogout)

Nice work Dave. I've actually seen those feet deposits in a lot of WC Mt. Meru Jackson's back when I was trying to raise a group of them many years ago as well as a few other Meru's I have come across in the years since. I always wondered what the hell it was and what had caused it. You might...

    Sambava boy showing he color

Definitely a sweet Sambava. Even more so that you got him as a fresh hatching and brought him all the way up. It's a treat to see them when they're young show a great range of color and intensity. Nice!

    my girlfriend from russia

"But I kept it real with good a old fashioned Las Vegas redhead honey when it came to marriage.... That Russian chick had a scary, weirdo side to her... Who goes to someone's hotel room they've known for 3 hours and asks if they can take a shower, really? Good thing I'm so friggin innocent...

    American Grasshopper

I used Grasshoppers for a brief stint, I found them to be very chitenous with a lot of material that was just passed. I think for an occasional feeder to get attention they're solid but not a daily feeder type.

    Recommended Read: The Lizard King

Playboy naturally Tyler, you know that! The articles are awesome!! In all seriousness, The Lizard King is an excellent book you'll power through even if you aren't much of a book reader. The stories about the Crutchfields are priceless, especially if you have been around for a while as you would...

    Stick Insects -carausius morosus

On another side note, while the Aus prickly Walkingsticks are AWESOME to check out, assuming we're talking about Extatosoma Tiaratum, I wouldn't recommend them as feeders. Says it all in the name but they're also fairly chitenous.

    Crucial advice needed!!!

No dude, not in that shape. A healthy animal or at least something that grips is something else. You're running a huge risk that animal will just drop off the tree and be too weak to get away from the shower. This is a classic baby steps moment for that animal imo.

    Crucial advice needed!!!

Don't put that animal in a shower, it will most likely kill it. Do a fine mist and when it starts drinking change the nozzle to drip and it will start gulping that down. If it's eating continue feeding but a small amount. You need to nurse that animal back a bit before you start doing big meals...

    The Translucent Veileds

Classic supply and demand but truthfully.... people have watched the Ball Python market and have hoped, prayed and rain danced that the same genetic morph thing will happen to their Reptile of choice... Transbalds are the first step in that direction for Chams.

    Warning about overfeeding young melleri

Something to also consider is that this can be a long lived species. Power feeding an animal that is supposed to grow gradually over a long period of time is going to do nothing but cause problems. You see a lot of this in some of the Parsonii that are being kept currently. Besides getting a...

    dead cham

Lance, I encourage you to put up a BOI post of your transaction. Starting an electronic trail of this person's business behavior will definitely make it more difficult for this person to cut a corner on the next transaction without the buyer, doing a little homework, being unaware or some...

No way to start the day

Ardi Abate actually kept a Quad for 13+ years that was already a full adult when imported. I'd seen it a couple times over the years. Last I saw it was developing what she thought was arthritis a while back. Not sure if it is still kicking but on top of it, the animals's color was outstanding...

    Baby Emerald Tree Boas....

Hi Bud, At this point I think I'm going to hold onto all of them for the time being. If I do decide to let them go, I put up a post in the classifieds section. Thanks for the interest. After they shed, I'll put up some updated shots.

One of the Nosy Be boys

Good points. I still do think its an all or nothing thing though. Let's get back to some pics of killer ice blue Nosy's... which one of our American friends can show the Canadian's they've got something to fear??? Hahaha.

One of the Nosy Be boys

Yeah, don't get me wrong. I enjoy the laughs, just like everyone else, but it's either you let it go on or you don't. Doing the 60/40 thing doesn't work IMO and in fact will cause more problems down the line. Sometimes a battle royal just gets everything on the table and it's done. Again, just...
