ya if you know what your talking about then your golden, make sure you literally get all the information in your head and ask them to ask you any question about it. Next make sure that they have ABSOLUTLEY no responsilibity for the cham. If they truely feel like they won't have to worry...

im getting mixed responses here, I'm going to keep a close eye on him during the daytime for a whole day when i get him and see how he does, i feel if he gets near it and avoids it the first time then i won't even have to worry

dont worry about that, I have my own bedroom (where he will be set up in his cage)

So i just set up my cage today for my new coming cham. Its an all screen cage and the heat lamp sits on the top right on the screen. What is stopping the chameleon from climbing right under the lamp and getting burnt? will it learn to just not go there?

I'm getting a cham and it will be living in a big house with 21 people, I and my gf will be its own care takers but ill be doing about 90% of it. Will the chameleon be able to tell if its me or just some random person?
