Bravo with this remark and to Chris's post right before me! For the people that have stated that this has been a waste to do what was done...well look at the now 118 posts on this topic? You call this a waste? I find it very interesting on seeing the pictures just to know or have a clue to what...
So far I personally have had 4 chams and so far they have all been rather tame when being handled. I purchased all the animals from the Kammers so far so maybe that does or does not have anything to do with it..i don't know.
Needless to say you would eventually have to handle the animal if...
Feel free to move to Western NY...the highest it has gotten this year was maybe 85 and thats it. Out west and south have been getting all the heat. I wouldn't mind a little "global warming" right about now. After a long winter you look for a warm summer....anyways I know my chams love the warmer...
After seeing all of the systems they ALL look the same. I dont see how anyone can go wrong with any of the systems. Besides the visual differences in some of the systems they all seem to have the same purpose and setup the same way. Congrats on the new system and now that you have one I am sure...
Kat-
Nice images...I had one of Isairys off spring but unfortunately could not keep him as the wife and I...ok well mostly the wife here is expecting our first so she wanted me to tone down the cham keeping...haha yah right! ok well we did except that with her bearded dragon and the one cham...
I have had that happen a couple times when I was first starting out. I kept my crickets in plastic containers with a small screen top without any heat and lighting...with the moisture during the summer and no lighting or heat to keep things dry I would run into your same issue.
If you do the...
I would guess that they were playing dead here...I had that happen once with a very young cham and it scared me you know whatless. I haven't had it happen when the cham was older. I wouldn't be too worried at all but I would check out your vivs to see if there is something different just to...
Not unless your chams are afraid of the things like mine are you should have no problems putting them on the branches and such...my life would be easier if my chams would eat more then just crickets. I have one going through a hunger strike right now and wants nothing to do with horn worms or...
Dude...your getting a herpmist, Nuff said!
Ok ok but seriously get one...I have a 2 cage setup and jason has been great with any idiotic Qs that I have had with the system or this and that...for service alone I wouldn't choose anyone else! Enjoy your new setup!:p
It sounds like he was startled and "has learned a lesson". I would worry more if his limbs weren't moving or have turned black like I have personally seen before....thats when a vet needs to be visited and other measures taken. If his colors look ok and he is eating I wouldn't worry personally.
Great thanks for the info...I have seen many but they all look the same and being that the corn is so popular I don't know where to begin...doing the research as always way before I were to get anything.
I checked out her site a bit before but with a few out there I wanted to make sure I...
I am looking at getting a corn snake down the road later this summer and I am wondering if there are any reputable breeders out there that people have dealt with in the past or highly recommend?
My baby beardie will be moving into a larger cage and I was planning on using my 20g long to...
I feed my chams first and then any leftovers go into my beardies cage at the end of the day. I have been doing this for more then a while now with no health issues at all. I have never used cricks from the beardie cage and place them in the cham cages. I personally do not see a big issue in this...
I have my mister going 4xs a day during the summer months and 3xs a day during the winter...I have 2 panthers.
Summer light schedule is from 8am-9pm with the mister going from (No humidifier)
9am (10min)
12pm (5min)
3pm (5min)
6pm (10min)
Winter light schedule is from 8am - 7pm with...
From what I have seen around here its typical at the 2.5-3 month range to sell out a cham. At least of the Panther to veiled variety. You may be able to get away with selling them younger however, but the chances of illness and death are much greater. Of course I am no expert but when I look for...
Don't worry about sounding dumb here, like I said the details were not very good plus no pictures so its hard to tell. to start off with using a Pathos. I don't know of a very unique way of hanging one so that there is little to no stress on screen so unfortunately not unless someone else knows...

I bought the misting system from Jason at herpmist and I have 2 ways of setting it up. you can kind of notice the bottom bucket on the bottom of the silver cage on the lower shelf. I have a line going from the bucket to the pump and that runs up through the left side of the cage...
I've ordered both of my cages through Tyler at BB and had no issues what so ever with them. Below is a pic of both of my cages, one if silver and the other black..
