    The Best Misting System?

    My system is very inexpensive...its the toro nozzles with 1/4 inch black tubimg hooked up to the laundry tub faucet with a sprinkler timer. You need to get your cage over a big tub though cause there is a lot of run off. You dont want to ruin your floors.

    No 100 is too hot but you can try putting him out there for a few hours in the morning. Maybe you can build an outside cage with heavy gage wire.

    Some people have built a cabinet around a plastic laundry tub and then put a bucket under that to collect water.

    what should my set-up include

    For the summer your guy can be outside in a cage. They thrive with that kind of fresh air and sun. Mine are outisde as soon as the temps are high enough and i have a toro misting system set to go on a timer from the outside tap. It keeps humidity up andgives them plenty of water without using...

    Misting schedule

    I do 2 30 minute sessions a day with hot water straight from the tap. During the summer when they are outside i increase the time depending on how hot it will be that day. I use hot water because its a super fine mist and its just nice and warm when it hits them and they seem to enjoy it.

    i have had ups hold onto my shipments at the receiving depot when i have had crickets delivered...you can do the same with chamleons if you tell them in advance

    Advice please

    Her enclosure shouldnt have any soil in it...you should make her and egg laying place by either doing a very large bucket or a small garbage can...i personally like playsand from home depot for egg laying. Many use soil.

    put pure hot water in the bottle....by the time the mist reaches him its just warm...keep the misting up..they need it. It helps wash out their eyes.

    Well i use the lawn system from toro...it works with 1/4 inch tubing...misting nozzles and then i hook it up to my laundry tub faucet with a lawn timer...you can do all that for under 60 bucks

    Give her at least 3 months from last laying and move her into his cage...not the other way around.

    Have you seen this?

    In that full length video the one chameleon actually fends off a cobra attack by biting viciously towards the tail end of the snake and puts up such a fit the snake is scared away.
