Get the LLL reptile cages, they are good, I have three. They can be a little flimsy if you have the doors off or something, but when everything is together, they are solid, easy to clean too with the removable tray and drip tray you can get.
Ya mine seems to do the same thing. He goes like a week or more between poops. but when he poops they are huge. His cage temps are from 90 at very top to 75 in bottom during day so plenty warm. He is very active, strong and eats fine. So I too am curious if this can be normal.

I tried introducing my female with my male and she freaked out, she has been really pink lately, what do you guys think? Is she receptive? Also will females still be pink if they are gravid?

Do you heat your water resavoirs for your misting machines? I use a five gallon bucket and am wondering if I should heat the water during the cold months? My room temp in apartment can get down to 60. Should I heat it, and if so can I just use an aquarium heater in plastic bucket?
So last week my panthe started roaming around his cage alot, like all the time until night time, and now when i open his cage, he comes shooting out onto my arm. My first chameleon, so just wondering if this is normal. Cage is 18x36 all screen, heat lamp at 85 and mistking. Thanks for the imput

MY question is if the ambient temp in my apartment is 80+ during the day, should I still use a basking light? I have a 5 month old panther. A heat wave has swept through So cal, and I find when I am at work my apartment cranks up to 80, his cage was 82 degrees in the cool side of the cage...
