Dubias aren't really the infesting type of roach. They're tropical so they will not survive very long or breed without the proper heat and/or a food source.
Same here, Spike LOVED superworms but after a few days, he was already over them... He won't even touch dubias considering they don't move very much... He's been over crickets since he was 5 months... He loves silkies and hornworms and anything that flies... Variety is key so you're on the right...

I think that's what makes owning these guys so much fun; the anticipation and end result :)
Shedding is a very uncomfortable process for chameleons... So much so that it causes them to be more irritated, stressed, and even loss of appetite. My panther puffs up a lot more during shedding to help loosen/stretch out the old skin. Frequent misting of warm water can help a lot!
He used to fire up when we introduced him to something new before. Actually, just gave him his first hornworms this weekend. Wanted nothing to do with it the first time, but that's old history now. Completely hooked!!
