i like drip vines. they look nice and they're effective to cover a large area. they might cost more than a bottle of water, but i think they're worth it.
chameleons send visual messages 2 eachother using colors & patterns. i bought a sweater with a photo of pissed-off male veiled, mine went insane when he saw it. now i dont wear it inside my house.
it's a mountain species. adcham has plenty on this species. are u thinking about getting a rudis? i really like them, the shape of their heads is what i think the the nicest
chameleons generally hear really low frequency noises, somewhere around 200hz. veiled chameleons use vibrations to warn other chameleons on the same tree. it scares the crap out of you the first time they do it when theyre on ur hand
my veiled chameleon Carlos has slight swelling on his casque. its not like massive bulges but is pokes out enough to notice. it's soft like a leopard gecko's tail. is this bad:confused:
he also has a cut running below the ridge of his casque for like a 1/2 inch that he made with his hind...
chameleons can get M.B.D. even if you dust regurally. you have to provide UVB rays from an ultraviolet reptile lamp so that they can metabolize the calcium.
