So I have a few silkworms that I have taken from egg to adult. I am going to give it an attempt at breeding them, but I am not sure at what point I should put in the paper rolls? Is there a rule of thumb or size I should look for?
So I purchased 500 Silkworm eggs that have all hatched! and are growing nicely. Now I need to purchase more food I found a post the other day with a link to a site with silkworm food cheaper than any other site, but I can't seem to find it again... Does anyone know said site?
Well I use dwarf umbrella tree plant there is a list on the site for the best pants for them. I had a ficus but they are way too fragile and messy for me. With those glass enclosures be sure to be extra clean especially with that back drop they can get moldy and grow bacteria very easily.
You need to switch it up abit, I feed my veiled silkworms, hornedworms which he loves, roaches I personally have an issue with but they are very high in protien! I always switch up his food he will get bored very soon!
