I am very sorry for this. I was told when Golem very young that it should be as close to 50/50 as possible, and I have used it and stressed over it as long as I have had him.
Once again I am sorry for pointing out something that I understood as fact that was not. That was my mistake which...
I am just looking for ideas I am free roaming now but I really don't want to take the chance of a roach escape the random cricket I can deal with but if I get a loose roach I am going to lose it!
Sorry yes I am used to seeing an almost 50/50 split plus that was one of the things my breeder told me to look for to measure there calcium levels. That's pretty much what I have been looking for since I got them.
50/50 no but the more the closer the better Golem is older now so is Roxy but both of them I have always made sure that the poop vs urates were close as possible
Yes it is a blurry. Pic but the size of the poop vs the size of the urinates shows either a she needs more water or calcium. Normal poop vs urinates should be close it shows proper break down of calcium.
PS sorry for the mistypes She not he!
So I have tried a few things things to let Golem cup feed have not found anything that works great and now that I have my Monsoon everything seems to be drowning even tho I have cut holes into the bottom of my cups. Any pics of links or ideas would be great!
Shedding is not an issue they she alot when they are young. How are her urates? are they a nice white or yellow? Is there a lid on that water bowl? If not make one or get one ASAP she can very easily drown in a bowl depending on the size.
Like everyone else said get the light out of the enclosure as soon as humanly possible! Second if you have no UVB that will make him/her dark all the time his body is in need of light so he will darken to get it. Third I would remove those wood chips they promote your feeders to borrow plus you...
I cut 1 small hole in mine and dropped both my tubs through there. Without holes it may pinch the line restricting the flow of water.
Pictures of your enclosure would help.
This could not be more true I was in Petco the other day and this lady was buying a veiled it was terrible!. First the guy feed the baby cham a large cric then he sold the lady no uv lights but a few heat stones and 2 different subs! and a HUGE glass enclosure!
