ive only had her since January and she has been great till now im gonna call some vets tomorrow to see if they deal with chameleons do you have any suggestions where i should go

i have my female vield the one with the problem in a 13x30x24 3 sided screen and 1 side glass cage i use a exo terra sun glo 40w daylight lamb and a 40w basking bulb the temp in the cage during the day usually hits 86 degrees or so and drops to the low sixties at night so i have a night lame on...

so now i think the problem got a little more serious now she dosent want to use her toungue at all and when she dose it dosent fully extend and not accurate

how much harder is it to care for a panther than a vield and what do you need to do differently i am considering getting a panther for my collection

no i dont cup feed im just hoping its nothing wrong with her toungue and shes just scared?

she loves eating them its just that she dosent use her toungue

i usually just pinch the worm and put it by her she usually hisses at it first but as soon as the worm stops squirming she gos for it i dont think she has been bitten but i know my boy has for sure

my female veiled dosent like to use her tongue alot when she eats superworms from my hand but she will chase crickets all day in her cage
