    cleaning fake vines

I use a pump sprayer and a steam cleaner. I bought the steam cleaner from walgreens for 25 dollars and the pump sprayer from wal-mart for 10 dollars. Both work exceptionally well for cleaning, although the steam cleaner seems to be more affective at spot cleaning.

    Is this a deal??

It is one of the best pet store deals you will find. However, those fixtures are pretty crappy IMO; the fixtures at Home Depot or Lowes are much cheaper and better constructed, I purchased my 36 in fixture online from http://www.idealtruevalue.com.

    skinny chameleons?

It also depends on what type of chameleon species you are talking about. For example, veiled chameleons have more of an arched back and therefore appear to weigh noticeably more. Whereas a chameleon such as the outstalets or verrucosus are visibly "skinny" and have flatter backs. I was...

    Ants in feeder enclosures

I used raid ant baits to get rid of my ant problem. They exacerbated the numbers of ants around my enclosure for a few days, but after that I haven't seen any ants at all.

You have connections with TLD? That's sick! I love their gear. A local shop in Salt Lake hooks me up with some of their jerseys.

    To all guitar players...

I am HUGE on the indie scene, so I play around in that area. I am also into the semi popular rock artists, like Jack Johnson, mainly because songs like his are easy to sing to while playing and lots of people recognize his music. Right now I am learning how to fingertap, which is a major...

    Pees Alot?

Instead of mulch, use paper towel. Or you can setup a drainage system and then you won't need to have anything on the bottom of the cage.

    Pees Alot?

A chameleon poop contains both the digested food and urine (a.k.a. urate). They do not pee in liquid form, in fact I believe the yellow liquid you are seeing is coming from the soil. When plants/soil absorb to much water, it is released from the plant/soil in liquid form and often has a...

    Critique my set-up please.

I would stick it into the cage a couple inches. It will protect the cham from licking the cage, which could be very problematic.

    Critique my set-up please.

I would add a couple more branches/vines at the top half of the enclosure. Chameleons will spend most of their time at the higher parts of the enclosure and they like having lots of cover. Are you going to be using a basking light? I could see your temperature was about right, but you may...

    Carpet basketing question

Can you post pictures of what the top of your screen looks like? IMO it is best to have the UV light lay across the tops of the cages. I have my UV lamps, heat bulbs and misters all at the top of the cage. You should be able to manuever your misters around your light structures, if there are...
