Are leafs bad for the chameleon? Like, is it bad to use it as some kind of "substrate"? I have always wondered that.

Good luck. Hope your little guy makes it. And I would still take him to a vet to get X-Rays and whatnot just to make sure he didn't break anything that could threaten his life.

Ventilation is the only thing I can think of. If you have a fan turn it on and open a window, also try to dry all the wet areas with a towel right away.

I'm just wondering if there's any breeders from the Orange County area in the forum. I want a good, healthy chameleon, and well, reptile stores only have overpriced pets, and let's not talk about chain stores like PetCo or PetSmart.

They normally lay between 2-4 clutches a year. So there's not a specific time for them to lay the next clutch.
