Here's simple step by step.
Step 1- Use no substrate. Yep it's that easy. Now if you really want, you can use newspaper or paper towels for easy poop clean up, but its just as easy to just wipe up droppings and you don't end up with soaked paper after mistings.
I have read that panthers are generally the calmer species. But according to a Kammerflage video, any cham can be handled. I have had mixed results with chams from biting to jumping to hissing to just plain silly putty in my hands. And that's through just 3 species of chameleons. Some even...
I break my back working for my cash so anything I put towards the chameleons is like therapy for me. And then I have my motorcycle, every gadget Apple makes and sneakers galore. Money may not buy happiness but it sure doesn't make me sad either!
Chameleon's hearing is through vibrations and not really through sound traveling through the air so a barking dog will not bother them. He may be cold and dark colors are a more efficient way to absorb heat though you would think he would head to the basking area.

Yeah I've had my walls blue for years. I just wanted something dark and couldn't get away with black walls so I figured a nice deep blue would work. The free range is still my work in progress. I really need more room and would like to actually incorporate UVB linear lighting but for now I'm...

So I've had my new cham for a week now, taking over ownership from one of our forum members. For the whole week, I did not notice droppings but just as I walked by the cage, I saw two. One looked normal, but another is like 2 inches long including urate! I would post a picture, but it's...
I was watching my new cham this morning and when the mist king came on, he went right into the mist and drank his fill. I've never observed my chams drink this much. After he was full of water, he actually sat in the mist for about 2 minutes longer til it shut off. It was amazing! Here's a...
Since my free range is tucked in a corner, I was wondering if my the plants I have were getting enough light from a mercury vapor bulb. I have a pothos, scheflerra, and a ficus. If not, what are some suggestions?
