Should I be worried or is this normal for an acclimating panther?
Is there anything I could do to entice him to eat?
I free ranged 10 crickets 2 days ago and there are still 9 left.
He also seems to open his mouth alot and sometimes it seems like he is yawning, is this a bad sign.
TIA!!
Spartans enclosure is in my boys room, and there is alot of traffic in that room, along with that my kids love their PlayStation 3 and their blu ray movies, and they like to play and watch movies at high volumes.
I was wondering if the noise and traffic will effect my Panther?
Are you guys kidding me!! Zombies is a freaken classic WaW and Black Ops version, it's pretty much the only reason why I bought the game. Left for dead series and the Resident evil are great but IMHO no way compared to Nazi Zombies.
So if I happen to catch a regular housefly, this would be bad to feed to my cham?
I have been seeing a few recently in my backyard that are in ther last moments in life and are active but cant fly (easy to catch).
You know what you are right, that does sound too cold:p. could be and most likely im wrong, just feels that cold lol. I will run the heater on full tonight until I can get a ceramic heat emitter in the morning.
not too sure what the temps are at the moment as I dont have any thermometers yet, my house gets to about 40 - 50 degrees.
what type of night time heat source do you suggest, and what temp is good for them at night?
I forgot to mention that I am going shopping for him tomorrow too.
As for a...
OK here is my cage, it's aluminum screen with one large vine and a small vine, a ficus plant. What else would be nice for spartan to have decorwise?
It came with a dome light with a 60w blue light and a 30" fixture with a repti sun 5.0 UVB.
and a little dripper.
The 60w doesn't seem...
I dripped several times today and he didn't drink. Now all of a sudden he is like gorging himself with water.
Is this bad?
Or is he just really really thirsty?
Kinda worried:(
Socal tap (L.A. Area) for me is at about 500ppm, and after RO/DI it's at 0ppm TDS, which would prolly kill a chamy. I T'd off a section before it hits the DI and that is at about 50ppm (really clean drinking water). I need the 0ppm for my fish tank when making salt.
Also 0ppm is bad for human...
I have a 35g barrel that it fills into, which is where I mix my saltwater, but I do have 5g jugs also that I can fill, for now I am just using a spray gun. I do plan on getting or DIYing a drip system. Any suggestions on a good reliable and affordable misting system would be greatly appreciated.
