REALLY need help re: neonate feeding !

No, I had no idea local stores wouldn't have 1/8 crix, fruit fly culture or small phoenix worms on hand. One would assume you could at least fine ONE of those items handy- but here's what I did expect; is that the seller MIGHT have an indication food for this size requires online ordering - or...

Pics of our family :) Fez, Miles & Nutella

Do you have pics of your fam? Would love to see them! And if Ambanja is the largest local then surely Oorana Mena has to be the meanest. LMAO! Every pic I see of an OM is of them all fired up with their mouth agape :D

Also, I think somehow ambanja runs bigger than other locals in terms of size. Not always but they do seem to be a bit larger than their counterparts from what I've seen so far. I like the bigger chams. Thanks for the compliment! These pics were all taken with my blackberry. I really should...

Pics of our family :) Fez, Miles & Nutella

He is Ambanja. He's a long term W/C. I estimate hes about 20 inches in length. He's probably 3+ yrs old. He's super friendly and loves to free range. I really adore him. He's very tolerant of cage modifications (had to reinforce the sides so he could climb them. The mesh was too small for his...

Pics of our family :) Fez, Miles & Nutella

Since you have some tiny ones of your own, I swear mine looks to be around the same age as yours but that's just going from the pics you posted yesterday, can you tell me if she 'looks' ok health wise? Hydration wise? Also, what temps do you keep the cage? I was told they don't need a basking...

Freaked - USPS hasnt arrived w/my cham!

Luckily, all turned out well for us. I think the fact that he is a HUGE long term w/c helped him weather the storm. He's since adjusted nicely and seems extremely content and satisfied with his new home :)

REALLY need help re: neonate feeding !

I did see that pic but what I didn't expect was that would be the size (actually those look bigger than what I received) when she arrived. I was thinking those were 'early' photos, and not indicative of what she was shipping at that time. And that's not what she said NOR was that the intent. I...

Pics of our family :) Fez, Miles & Nutella

My husband just measured her in her cage. She's right at 1.5 inches as best he could tell without scaring her. Your babies are cute, btw. How does one sex them so early? Is it easy?

REALLY need help re: neonate feeding !

As stated, I assume responsibility for MY actions and I'm not blaming her for MY ignorance. However, she accused me of lying about petsmart having the appropriate size food as well as starving the animal on purpose. It's unacceptable. Sellers are the ones ultimately responsible for their animals...

REALLY need help re: neonate feeding !

Here's a pic I just took. I have no idea the length / size of baby chams at 6-8 weeks old and I don't want to get her out and measure her but the leaves in her cage are 1.25 inches in length.

Thank you! I appreciate that very much !! And I can tell you this, we had thought of breeding one day in the far away future but after seeing this one, we have decided to hang up that idea ASAP! LOL !

REALLY need help re: neonate feeding !

I actually wanted to SEND THE ANIMAL BACK provided I could stabilize her prior to shipment. The seller doesn't want the animal back and I know it's not in this chams best interest to be sent back, anyway. I can't imagine shipping one this small to begin with. I just find it appalling to be...

REALLY need help re: neonate feeding !

I would never attempt to own more than one if this wasn't a 'family' adventure. Myself, my husband, my son and my daughter all rotate schedules for gutload, cage cleaning, general maintenance, etc. We would never order anything we didn't feel we were prepared for and the only reason we weren't...

REALLY need help re: neonate feeding !

I was "freaking out" because the seller sent a cham from west coast to east coast using USPS without icepacks. It took two full days to get here and he was stuck in a box in over 100 degree temps. Had he arrived in 24 hours I wouldn't have freaked out. How does that have anything to do with MY...
