my species of cham(dwarf jackson) like the temp from 70 to 80 deg. the thing is that, my room stays between those temps. should i also have a heat lamp or is it not necessary because the temp shouldn't go over 80.
u see my cham has been closing his eyes a lot and at first i though his temp...
Heat lamp is off and temps have settled into about 77 I have a small fan pointed at the cage now to get some temp drop. Could u tell me a little more about my species to make sure I didn't miss any thing. I know alot about them but he still is my first Cham
Yes The spot is in both sides of his body It some times is more dominant then it will almost go away. Thanks for all the help this is putting me to ease. I'm def going to be keeping a closer eye on him though. And what do u mean by markings? Like a bruise or just a pattern
I switch the bottom of the cage with a white towel to keep an eye on the stool every thing seems normal.
I'll def get the basking spot down to a lower temp thanks for all the help.
i have seen him with his eyes closed during the day i just cant figure out why
temp is 90 in hot spot 80 to mid 70 in the cooler parts humidity 50-60 spray all the time i tried giving him some water with an eye drop but he wouldnt take it.
could any one tell me if my chameleons eyes are sunk in? i dont know what they would look like if he did because i cant find any pictures of it. i just want to be safe. im asking u guys this because i just moved my cham into his new home and hes not acting like he was. and this weird spot...
So I hear alot about chams with there eyes closed during the day. That it's bit a good sign and that to be carefull and keep an eye out for it. I just wanted know more about this.
What does it mean?
Is the chams eyes closed all day or parts of the day etc.
I guess I just want to...
This maybe just a suggestion but I have a small fan that I keep on at night. I point it towards my cage. I don't point it directly at my cage just because I don't no how cool it will get during the night and i keep it at the lowest setting but it does keep the cham a bit cooler And the cage temp...
So iv been noticing lately that when my cham is asleep he become very light skinned. I'm not sure if I should be worried or any thing. The temp is fine humidity every thing?
Any one no any thing about this?
Jax Cham 6 months
Cup feeding is very easy to do I simply just put a small cup in my chams cage, some were that he can be above the cup and put some crickets in it.make sure the cup is plastic and deep to where the crickets can't jump out I also put a leaf in the cup from one of my fake plants low enough to where...
Can food? I'm think that any thing coming from a can is not the greatest idea and u should prob stay away from it. If u can't get ur hands on live worms then sticking to live crickets is the best way to go, a wide verity of feeders is good for ur Cham but as long is it's getting the right...
