I agree with this. By shopping at an establishment, you are supporting the establishment. That's all there is to it. If you can't change what they are doing then stop supporting what they are doing, that's all the change you can make.
He wasn't saying you are wrong by telling them what they need...
I do have a stronger sense of smell than others, hopefully that is the only reason it's smelly. I will get him tested ASAP though but I'm hoping for the best. How should I go about collecting the poop? How long is too long to test the poop before it's inaccurate?
Damn. Well how urgent is this? What types of parasites causes this odor? He has been this way for months now and seems okay. I will still do a fecal but money is way too tight right now
My panther chameleons poop stinks! Like bad! Lol.
I've owned a veiled chameleon prior to my panther and her poop never stunk..
I always know when he poops, I can smell it when I come down the steps, the odor just smacks me in the face, it is really that bad. I would have never imagined something...
Mediterranean house gecko. One snuck back with me after vacationing in Florida through my luggage. When I got home I left the luggage by my steps and about a day later I saw him just sitting by the steps. Long story short I caught him, kept him in a cricket keeper and fed him crickets.
Ironic...
This is something I would not have thought about upon bringing my Cham out this upcoming season.. I have a ton of hawks where I live,
I see ten a day easy around the house.
Sorry for your loss, it has opened my eyes to the dangers outdoors so thank you for the post. Potentially saved my Cham
I'm going to try this, my panther has taken a lot longer to earn trust than my previous veiled. It's working slowly though. Man these hornworms grew to gigantic proportions overnight! Have you been bitten by one yet?
He may be tired of what he is being offered food wise.. If he's constantly climbing around and trying to get out that means he isn't happen with his enclosure. Add more vines for him to climb on
Yes venom. If they do not have some sort of immunity against venom, what do you think would happen if a chameleon was bitten or stung?
And yes, wolf spiders are big, fast and carry a painful bite lol. Hate those spiders.
I imagine chameleons encounter spiders in the wild, but are they safe for them to eat? Most spiders have some sort of toxin and I've seen a chameleon eat a huge wolf spider before, just doesn't seem safe to me.
For that matter, is any insect that contains a toxin; is this safe? Do chameleons...
I've heard much debate about whether chameleons can choke or not.. I've heard a lot of people say not to feed them insects too large or too long because they will be a choking hazard.
Well like snakes they are reptiles, and snakes seem to swallow much larger prey, I can only imagine the...
