Vegas,
I keep them in the same room as my panther yes. I live in a loft so its all the same room really. lol. Temp is generally controlled in my space at 60-65 at night (winter) and 70 during the day.
In the summer nights are high 60's and mid 70's during the day unless I turn on central...
The only scooter I see is a member named: https://www.chameleonforums.com/members/scooter4n/ If you are talking about the cham that was rescued, it was named "casper" not scooter. No idea, may not have made it.
Catherine,
So precious! I am very jealous. Good luck with them! Can't wait to see what you make of them. Please keep us all updated on any new things you learn about their behaviour and captive care.

I am always reworking my setup. He is currently in a 6ftLx3ftWx6ftH wire mesh enclosure. I also have an indoor free range setup that I rotate between my chams. So no one is permanently free range (I have dogs).
For lighting I use reptisun 5.0 compacts and 75w house lights for basking areas...
I use an inline heater (Hydor - http://www.aquaticeco.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/product.detail/iid/9092) no submersion, no taping, clamping, gluing, or anything - lol. Just plug the connections and it works it magic. Great precise control as well. I love it. I have it setup on its own timer...
Hello,
Three months ago I posted a picture showing growth spurt of my male parsonii. Well it's time again for the new update. Now 11 months old. He was NOT HAPPY (you can see by his dark coloration) being held and weighed this time around. Came in at 250 grams.

No that wasn't me. There was a confusion. There is a guy in this forum who has that setup and someone got us confused.

Its not about killing the moss, what makes me nervous is the fact that moss (dead or alive) retains water like a sponge - and anything that retains water is prone to go moldy in a humid environment.
You want to mimic nature as much as possible, and most chams bask earlier in the day when the sun is somewhat high in the sky but still coming down at an angle. You will notice that a 45 degree angle is probably the best setup for basking lights. Your cham should have a nice horizontal perch...
Pashka,
With your budget, might I suggest holding off a bit longer and save more money? You should consider buying the Canon 40D Digital SLR. You are looking at about 1600 USD with a great lens kit. The 30D is great, but adding in just 300 bucks extra will bump you up to a whole new level...
I'm sorry all this back and forth is kinda funny. To make things short and sweet. Habba Mist SUX. Sorry I wouldn't use it for anything although Vegas Chad has suggested some promising uses. Nightcrawler, stick to your hand misters and drip bottles for now and save up for pro misters. The...
Gus is very timid, but over time he has taken to being held better and better. I still handle all of my chams monthly so I can inspect them. When the weather is nice, I take them to their sunning enclosure. This guy here is in a free roaming setup. My panthers are in mesh enclosures.
As...
