if we are talking about a chameleon (you didnt say) the mealworms are hard bodied and would be hard to swallow and digest, it sounds like he was struggling to get it down his throat so was shaking his head. maybe someone with a bit more experience will follow up. mealworms are not good...

i bought him as a male but not sure. thick tail base with a vent showing most of the time and shows green on heag and flanks with a bright red under the chin, hes 7 month old but if it was a girlie i would have thought it would be showing more pinky peachy colour :confused:
