I have a 3x2x4 (lwh) cage for my Adult Panther Chameleon. It's time to change bulbs and I have been using a 24" Reptisun 5.0.
It just occurred to me though that I might be needing a stronger light since I now have a bigger cage!
So should I get a Reptisun 5.0 or use a 10.0?

Henry my Panther Chameleon is getting around 7 months now, and I'm looking to build him is adult cage in the next month.
I actually think my cousin (also reptile savvy) is going to build it for my for christmas (sweet!!) So I've got to give him the dimensions as well as draw...
I normally don't feed Henry crickets with wings, and the petstore I go to will happily pick the large ones without wings for me. However, I had to go to a different petstore, and I asked them, but they failed to understand...
If it's just this once that he eats the crickets he'll be fine...

so. I'm pretty sure he was labeled as a red-barred ambilobe...and maybe he'll grow into it, but he looks more like a blue-bar?

I've now had Henry for a month and 1 day now, and his colors are so bright now! I have a NikonD40 SLR, and the color looks amazing on the computer, but once shrunken down the color seems more dull :/
He's doing really good and has shed once.

I'm assuming I point and shoot to get the temperature.
The upper area is around 83-85 F, when I point to the area under the basking I get 88-91 F, and the bottom of the cage is 73-76F
