ur Chameleon - Mylo is a male panther, he is 11 months old and I have had him for 8 months.
Handling - Atleast once a day, hes a friendly little guy who sits and waits for me to handle him.
Feeding - He has a diet of crickets, locusts and meal worms (occasionally) He normally eats 4 or 5...
Kinda, but if he was to burn himself it would only be the underside of him from where he had climbed up to the top of his viv and along the topside mesh part. Not his head, he cant get high enough or close enough should I say
Hello all! Around a week or so ago this black mark appeared at the top of my little mans casque. I have been cleaning it daily and applying some F10 cream. He started shedding two days ago and i thought maybe it would go with it, but under the shed skin was even darker black. Is this a burn...
Thank you for your response :) We have started measuring him every two weeks to see if he is growing which was recommended by the vet also. He doesnt make the noises when relaxing, its more when he's climbing, i only hear it when he's climbing on me but if i have the doors of his viv open and...

I will post some photos in the morning as I can't do it from my phone. If this is the case and it's a burn, can someone explain how I can elevate his basking light off the top of the viv? I have the cage around the light at the moment so it's not bulb on mesh. But I live in rented accommodation...
I did think it could be a burn, but would it be white? And it's almost like the skin is peeling off around the mark. Seems odd how it's in the exact same place as where the dodgy bit of shed was.
My panther cham's last shed was about five weeks ago now, he's 7 months old. From his last shed he was left with a small piece of skin on the top of his casque which I daily wiped with warm water on a cotton bud. It came off on its own but left behind black skin instead of green like the rest...
Would just like to add that after having a fecal test done, no parasites were found and we were told he is a healthy Cham. His tongue also seems fine now so maybe he had an injury or was just being lazy! Thank you for the advice everyone :)

In the UK it's obviously not warm. And i do find that when opening his viv it can feel colder in there than it does in our room. Should i have another basking light because the viv is so large? Or should it be turned up all the way?
Hello everyone. Our Chameleon is male and six months old now. However, on his front left foot, he has a slight deformity. On the side where he should have two toes, they aren't split so he sorta only has one! Plus he has no nails (claws) on this "toe" either so struggles occassionally when...
He is really friendly! Scratches at the glass whenever I'm in the room as he loves being handled. Loves climbing although he has a slight deformity bless his soul. On his front left foot, where he should have two toes, it isn't split so he struggles to grip things.
