Hey Steve, I think 1 or 2, but not sure yet. I am pretty sure you are near me if it is the Plantation I am thinking of. I only had 3 live out of a clutch of 54 :( and the 1st one died. The other 2 are doing great. I am pretty sure they are both females.

    help!

Pedialite When my female veil gets dehydrated after a clutch I give her unflavored Pedialite from a saringe. When she hisses I squirt some in her mouth. Just a thought. Also, pedialite is only good for 2 days after you open it so I fill ice trays with and thaw out a cube in the microwave make...

Fiberglass screening You can go to Home Depot and buy fiberglass screening or metal screening (the metal is more expensive). Mine are fine with the fiberglass so that is my advice for you.:)

    Please help!

Advice It sound like he is dehydrated you should definitely get him to a good reptile vet that has had experience with chameleons (just ask the receptionist when you call for an appointment) make sure you tell them it is an emergency so they get you in soon. Another thing, sand inpacts...

baby veiled possibly not eating... not sure

My babies My babies weren't eating and I went to the vet. She told be to feed them chicken baby food through a saringe with a pointy tip on it. I did that and now that one is eating. She was 8 days old before she ate on her own. Her sister ate 3-4 days old on her own. Also, I am using...

    Guido is constipated!

Vets Answer I just went to the vet with my veiled cham. She had some sand in her tummy. The vet told me to give her canned pumpkin (not the pumpkin pie mix). My girl won't eat any veggies so she said to give it to her with a siringe when she opens her mouth. The pumpkin is like fiber and will...

    Newly Hatched Veil Not Eating

Update on babies The baby died yesterday. When I left in the morning she was doing good. She climbed on a silk plant stem and was balancing (which was great considering she couldn't open her eyes). When I came home her arms and legs were brown. I picked her up and she was stiff. That was...

    Newly Hatched Veil Not Eating

Update Thanks for all the advice. I brought her to the vet today. The vet said it looks like a burn and wants me to apply Sulfadiazine cream to her head and tail. The only reason I have such a young cham is that I hatched her. My male and female were 6+ months old when I got them so I am new...

    A live birth

Great!! I never knew that chams gave birth to live babies and not eggs. That is so awesome. It seems easiler than this egg thing.

    Newly Hatched Veil Not Eating

Thanks Thanks Ed, maybe you could help with this problem also. My baby climbed up the wire to the thermometer and fell (about 14") into the container with my 5 week old bearded dragons (the same one with the eating problem). Apparently she fell on her head because it is black and she won't open...

    need help building cage plz

Non treated wood I had my whole cage almost built when I realized I could not use treated wood. So, I had to disassemble and redo the whole thing with non-treated wood. If you use treated wood it can burn or let off a scent that will kill the lizard. So just use caution when you purchase the...
