Don't you know? Caps lock is cruise control for cool. As long as the chameleons cannot see each other they will be fine. If you see them stare at each other and their skin gets really dark, then its time to add sheets.

Most are gas unless you are putting in wood. The only thing is if the power goes out the fan in the fireplace won't work. So you will have to put the cage really close to the fireplace so he can get the heat.
