Cute little lizard I picked up in Anaheim.

Wow I've never seen a beaded lizard, it looks like a gila monster with yellow instead of orange.

    Oh mom!!!! C'mon!!!!

My adult dragon is more of a wanderer lol. Goes everywhere and tries to eat anything that gets her interest. My baby beardie stayed on my arm for half an hour today without trying to dash off. I felt bad taking him off of me though =(. They really are great lizards to handle. I just wish my cham...

    Is he drinking?

Do you spray him directly? Mine actually doesnt seem to drink from leaves much, but if i spray her mouth she eventually starts to drink. She doesnt particularly enjoy it though.

    Lack of Silkworms available?

?? Idk what you mean with your post. Anyway since my PMs seem to NEVER work and get to people I send them to might as well ask here. The basking spot for the baby is normally 95 degrees, should it be a little higher or should that be good enough?

    Lack of Silkworms available?

Hmm my guess is close to 2 months old perhaps? Total length of 5-6 inches, snout to vent perhaps 2 in. 37 eggs?! Dam that's a lot. My adult laid 19 that were infertile i believe, and she ate two of them before i could get them out.. i didnt know they did that she really surprised me. Then again...

    Lack of Silkworms available?

Yes the first suggestion I took immediately because I was getting desperate to find silkies and i spent a lot for these silkworms and food... But w/e if my baby survives i could care less about the price of ordering feeders. Basically I got this baby in mid august and he took a while to settle...

    Lack of Silkworms available?

Thank you very much, I was getting frustrated that I kept going on sites to find them out of silk worms. I need them bad too because my baby beardie is boycotting crickets right now and I read that baby bearded dragons dont last very long without frequent meals. I didn't realize they could be...

I have tried Mulberry farms, and they are out of silkworms, and so are Coastal Silkworms apparently. What other website has them in stock?

How do your chams like hornworms?

If you get them from mulberry farms they come in a cup with the chow already, and if you do not plan on breeding them you are set right there. Just wait till they are the appropriate size for your cham and drop em in.

Leopard Gecko does not eat crickets anymore

My baby beardie started doing this... I think I spoiled him by introducing him to silk worms. He wasnt eating when I got him due to time to adjust but after that I got silk worms for my cham and dropped them in there and he loved them. Now he doesnt seem to eat the crickets as much, he did eat...

Hmm what is going on with this hornworm?

The original worm i posted hasturned brownish/red and is definitely pupating now. Either that or mutating into something else! And the other green hornworm that was next to it i think is gonna start pupating too cuz its buried under the chow. For those who breed these guys, how long does it take...

Hmm what is going on with this hornworm?

Well it is to my cham because she can't eat it yet. My beardie would tear it up though! Idk hopefully they both become moths and leave me some eggs, and then i can feed them off.

    frogs with chameleons

I wonder why this guy is so hellbent on putting them together. I've had frogs in the past and there's not too many that could be ruled out as cham food when it's bigger. And the ones that are big enough could be a danger to the chameleon (bullfrogs, pacman frogs). What kind of frogs are being...

    Help needed with worms/feeding

holding around 1-3 feet is good as long as your cham can reach the worm with its tongue. Make sure you let your chameleon see the worm even if he/she is nasty. My cham hates me and when i hand feed her her first reaction is to gape but when i show her the worm she puts her anger for me aside...
