I so find that misting the food I feed the crickets once, gives them water and none have died on me yet :) Just a suggestion.

They should be fine :) If you use SEARCH type in Gut Loading and there should be some forums that pop up with a greater variety on what you can give them. Some people even have recipes on what to give them.

Its fine to handle the chameleons, as long as they let you. My male hisses and sways at me, opens his mouth while doing so, so we tend to leave him alone. The Female we have does the same. But if we need too we handle them.

Or there maybe something in the enclousre that he doesn't like? (Just a thought)

The lights should be on the for the same time as far as I know. I'm not too plant savvy. So i can't help you there.
