Is that ointment used for eye infections? Is there anyway I can know it is an infection forsure? If its not an infection and I use that stuff could it cause any harm to them?
No they are not housed together...hence why they have different lights.
The female seems to be shedding well, but my male has been having irregular sheds like u mentioned. He shed the bottom half of his tail a few weeks ago, and he shed his spine area last week, but thats it. But if it is...
hey everyone,
So both my male and female panthers have been having an eye problem now for several months. i took them to a vet and was told it was a vitamin deficiency and I needed to gut load with more things like carrots and yams. I have been doing that for some time now, and have seen very...
I have been having the same problems with my panthers. I took her to a vet and it was diagnosed as a vitamin A deficiency. They told me to gut load my crickets with high vitamin A foods like carrots. I have been doing it for several months now, and it seems to be getting better slowly.
I dont have any way to weigh her, but she does seem very fat. I have a container of damp sand in her cage for her but she hasnt gone to dig in it. it has been in there for about 4-5days now.
She is pink/peachy color. When I let them see each other she acts normal, and as soon as he begins to bob his head she turns black and almost orange. and puffs and gapes her mouth. Someone in the post mentioned she might just be being territorial of her cage. so I am gonna let them see each...
Thats so weird that are two males act so differently. Mine seems like a horny little teenager. I wonder if it is because I housed them together when they were very young....what do ya think?
I have a similar situation. I have a female panther that is a little over a year old, and is the same colors as the photos you posted at yours. My male is also a little over a year. I think they are ready to mate, but not sure how to go about it. Whenever my male sees the female he fires up...
I dunno I think every cham is different, and you just need to learn there personalities. My female doesn't like to be held, looked at, or probably even thought about. However my male loves to be held. when ever I open the cage he comes running to the front, and climbs onto my arm, he loves to...
I know of a good vet in San Luis Obispo if you are willing to drive up there. Bear Valley Animal clinic has an awesome exotic animals vet. its actually in Los Osos which is right next to San Luis Obispo.
So I put a container of moist sand in her cage to see if she is ready to lay. She hasnt gone near it or dug in it. Does it take time for them to get used to it and dig, or if they are ready will they begin digging right away? She saw my male today and she turned dark, puffed up and began...
thanks! That is def a start for me. I am gonna put a container in her cage for her to dig in and see if she is ready. She is very shy so it is hard for me to tell how much she is drinking or roaming her cage. Whenever she sees me watching her she stops whatever she is doing, so i never...
