    lights on my new enclosure

Ya, I can probably "unmount" them. Since the lights are in an enclosed "box" above the cage, light cant escape other than down into the cage, so would 1ft above still be too high?...i just measured and its actually like 7-8'' above the cage...still to high? Would you recommend a 5.0 or 10.0 bulb?

    cocking to seal enclosure?

I have recently purchased a custom built wood framed cage. I have basically torn it apart and rebuilt it. I want to fill in the gaps between some of the pieces of wood with cocking before I paint it. Is there any type of cocking you recommend to use or not to use? Are there any that are...

Howdy! So I just bought a custom double cage last night. I want to replace the screen on it because it seems like the holes are a little big, and crix would be able to get out. If I remember correctly, there is a specific type of screen to use..what do you recommended? Thanks!

    The Friendliest Chameleon Ever!

My male panther is super friendly ever since I got him at about 4-5months. He loves to be held. Anytime you open the cage door he comes running to the front to climb out on your arm. I can actully tell when he wants attention, he paws at the cage door to come out. He has never puffed or...

    Clarification needed

Well heres my take, but I think others on the forum might give better answers: I think it is good to get soil that does not have any added chemicals in it such as fertilizer because if there are little bugs or flies in the soil and your cham goes after them, he might get some of the soil as...

    dusting pattern?

OK, So I have heard a lot of different ways in which people dust the feeders. I was wondering if I could a general consensus on what a good dusting schedule would be. And possibly learn what does each of the vitamins and minerals (or at least the main ones) do for the chams. As well as what...

    horn worms

Hey everyone! So I just ordered a cup of hornworms from mulberry farms. When I feed them to my chams should I dust them or anything? I also noticed people on the forum mentioning that they only give them as occasional treats. How often can I give them, because I will have a dozen or so, and...

    Panthers minimum cage size?

If you have minimum space for cage size, you might want to reconsider breeding then. Regardless I think a good cage size that is reasonable is 2ft deep x 2ft wide x 3ft high. And that goes for both males and females.
