From looking at all the images of a prolapse, it doesnt look like that. Do they look different sometimes? And how long do I have? I noticed this yesterday. It is Saturday night, and no vets are open on Sundays. I live over an hour away from any Vet ERs.

My Panther Chameleon has a red semi-translucent bulge protruding from his anus. I would say it is about the size of the tip of my thumb. He recently shed (last week). Any idea what it could be. Also, he has been hanging out on the wire mesh of his cage, rather than in the tree. Please Help..
