I wonder if Azog and Ming are related. I got my last one from Kammers also sired by Ming though . They look VERY similiar. I think I'll write Liddy and see if their related.
These are common ghost gecko's that max out at about 4" total length. They will vary from 2-4". I'm going to try and get her full growns but may be a few around 3". Just wondering how many can go in each container, if I should just put one, Do I need to do anything to the gecko's themselves...
Does anyone know how I should pack around 10 gecko's that are no more than 4"? A member on here needs some to control a pest problem at her house and I'm going to catch and ship them to her as their are plenty around here. Can I put several in each container? I plan on using feeder containers...
Its really hard to tell right now, but he looks like he's going to have quite a bit of turquoise in him. How old is he? Usually around 5 to 6 months you can put a mirror up to them and they'll show you all they got. Pretty guy!! David
Ditto LPR, about half. I would get a good scale that has accuracy to within a gram or so. LLLreptile has them for around $15 I think. I would start charting his weight just to be sure your not cutting it too much. Good luck. David
Your right dodolah, Just checked and she's sold out. wouldn't hurt to email her and see what she has or when she'll have some more. I want to get those she lists as Mexican mantis. They can be released in the US and look very cool. David
Yes, I bought mine at mantisplace. Are you sure your looking at the right section of her website? It's kind of confusing. It's listed under oothes and cup o mantis, something like that. Has a drop down box to pick what type you want. I know she still had some available a few days ago. email her...
Hate to break the bad new to you:https://www.chameleonforums.com/life-expectancy-8810/?highlight=labordi They only live 4 to 5 months total. What a shame
She has pictures on her website of them. I think the chinese are long and skinny and have brown wings and fly. The come through her in hoards in the spring. They don't stay, just passing through. The religiosa are green, have big butts, little wings and don't fly.
I've purchase them from kammers and mantisplace.com. Mantis place is much better source for your flies. I would only mess with the bottle flies though as they are about three times the size of the houseflies. Kammers will only ship them overnight and that's about thirty five bucks. Mantis place...
Most of the unusual mantis ooths are very expensive, between $25 and $60 each. The most common and those found in the US are the Chinese, Carolina and religiosa. The Chinese fly, I think its the Chinese, might be the carolina though. Rhe religiosa are the common big butted green mantids. I know...
That's great to hear. The last male veiled I purchase is one of Ming's and also has the spot starting to come through. He's about 51/2 months old now. His casque is not pointed though. It does look like he's going to have a larger than average casque. I also like the pointy one on yours. Nice...
Another few places for feeders is www.coastalsilkworms.com they have silkies of course as well as hornworms, phoenix worms roaches I think butter and waxworms. www.mantisplace.com has both housefly and bottle fly pupae that young chams love.
Put an object where you expect your cham to bask, and leave it there for
ten minutes or so and then measure the temp of that or just feel how hot it is. I'll bet it will heat the object but it's just not heating the air at that point. Whenever I move a light or get a new type or wattage, I...
