thanks alot. I am going to give him a few weeks of getting use to his cage and seeing me around the cage before I start to handle him and when i do i think it will be only once or twice a week. Can you see the little green spots on his neck already? I cant wait till he starts getting more colors...
im new at chams so ill take ur advice and let him be for a couple of weeks, but is my hand inside the tanks stressing him out? I only go in there when i have to take out crickets at night or remove the paper towels on the bottom. Thanks

I currently have an 18" reptisun 5.0 uvb bulb on my cage along with a basking regular bulb. I just ordered a new 18" fixture that comes with a Reptile Desert 7% UVB Daylight fluorescent lamp. Can i use that bulb that comes with that one or should i take it out and use the 5.0? Is the 7.0 too...
ok so i see that its a much debated topic, but i am coming to the conclusion that its always ok to breed the same locale even if different colors...such as blue bar and red bar ambilobe? Thanks again

Hey I just got my baby red bar panther today from screameleons. I have a basking dome light on there and i have the UVB bulb but i got the wrong size fixture for it. so i just ordered the right one online and will have it by friday. Is is ok for my cham to go a few days without the UVB light...
ok thanks..i heard that veileds are a little more agressive than the other chams. I want a cham that can deal with a little handling. I know they shouldnt be handled a lot but i want to be able to be able to put it in and out of the cage without it being nasty. Whats the calmest most docile cham?
Hey im new here and to chameleons. I am looking into getting my first cham. I am thinking I want a nice panther. Is there a certain cham thats easier for beginers? I have had other herps such as snakes and bearded dragons. How hard is it to breed these guys? Thanks alot.
