I started thinking would it be ok or a bad idea if you had a mesh cage and only a 12' uvb bulb/fixture could you somehow mount it inside the cage? instead of buying a 10.0 and a huge fixture?
Since my move i used to have my veiled free ranged...he misses the adventures :p
I put him back into his 260 gallon reptarium which is 2 x 2 x 4 and its like 3 feet off the floor soo he is really high up hard to reach the zipper.
The only setback i had was my UVB lighting which the mesh...
No i have not. I only use live plants in hanging pothos, schflerra, ficus tree. besides the stupid fake assembled plants suck...and are really expensive.
You could buy a one hanging pothos for like 7.95 $ instead of 10$ for a crappy plastic leafy thing that falls apart and could cause...
92 F and during the night gets down to like 70 the room is small well insulated and keeps a room temp of 65 i get sweaty sitting in there. Supplements are the same. I cut his eating schedule cause i saw he was gaining weight fast!
And humidity temps are fine..
Recentley in the morning when i turn on my lights start my misting and watering i normally see my veiled up and going but since the cold cold weather has set in he acts as though he is dormant. And just to see what would happen if i didnt stir him in the morning and he just sat in the same spot...
Your set up and cage looks really good....no problems there...
Maybe hes just really docile and friendly :confused: quit trying to get him all puffed up ;)
Just keep an eye on him im sure everything is fine.
I have had the same incident just reaching in to re-adjust something and he just flys over to my hand changes to a really dark green colour and starts rocking on my hand and waving back and forth i thought he was trying to get some :p

Yeah i can say the same. My guy normally eats 4 dubias yesterday he only wanted 2 and the same with crickets he only ate half..:confused: I think maybe its just the colder time of year and they are on a different schedule
