I have a 16 month old Veil Chameleon and all of a sudden he seems to be sexually frustrated, and is attacking himself for about a week now. Today for the first time has drawn blood from his tail from a bite (note he is alone in the cage and no others reptiles in our house). Any suggestions?
My Veil is muddy brown most of the time too. But if I can take him outside in the sun he turns to his pretty colors. Also at night he turns into his pretty colors too. I'm sure it's a temp issue... My 2 cents.
