Thanks for the input. I will look into a Pothos and change my schedule misting schedule to see how it goes. Didn't want to change the schedule because he would always run for the hills, but the last couple of days he walks back into the mist for the last couple of minutes.
His poop is white...
Right now, Draceana. I have been looking for Schefflera, but all the local stores have are very small ones.
I have an ambilobe panther around 4 months old.
Any ideas on keeping up the RH? I have a 18" x 18" x 36" screened enclosure with live plants, automatic misting system 3x/day for 5 minutes. The RH goes to 55 - 60% when misting, but after 5 minutes it is back in the low 40's. I was going to get some plexiglass for a couple of sides, but used...
Thanks. Bought him off a breeder through this forum, but don't really want to name him in case of a misunderstanding. So, they can triple in size in 1 to 1-1/2 months?
Sorry to OP for highjacking the thread. Great looking guy you have.
That guy is 4 months old. My guy is supposed to be at 4 months and he is 1/4 that size?!?
Do panthers grow at drastically different rates? Do they have a huge growth spurt? How big was he a month ago?

What do you think? Boy or Girl? He is showing some green and redand I think I see the small bump at the base of the tail, but he is showing some circular patterns on the side, which I thought meant a girl.

Thank you EvilLost and ataraxia. I will be adding more around the basking and feeding spot tomorrow. As far as the noise, there really isn't any in the kitchen or the kids going to the sun room. More movement than noise.
I have had him for a week.
The cage is in a corner of the dining room near a door to the sun room. My kids do go into the sun room to play and watch tv. The dining room is open to the kitchen so there is more traffic there that he may be seeing. I do have another room that nobody really...
Do you recommend more at the top or more at the bottom? My setup seems similar to most pics of seen on the site. There is 3 horizontal sticks, a couple of plastic vines that he climbs on, the smallest biovine going back and forth a couple of times and the dracaena that is about 2-1/2' tall...

I don't make it to that show because of the distance. I go to the shows in the Baltimore area, but the big one isn't until August or September. Is it a good show worth the drive? I have never been because of that and now gas prices don't help any.
I have a complete chameleon setup for sale. Our little one passed on and my wife can't go through trying to nurse another one back to health if something were to go wrong, so I have been forbidden to get anymore chams (for now). Anyhow, here's what I have:
18" x 18" x 36" Screened Cage...
Just to let everyone know, He didn't make it. I figured it was too late, but it was worth a try to load him up. He past away last night. I will probably take a break on chameleons for now. My son didn't take it well.
What other animals can be placed in an arboreal screened cage? I want...
OK. The good news is that the new vet said she sees no sign of a broken back. Of course this means something else is wrong, which she could not determine. She says she see no signs of MBD, but his bones are small so it is hard to tell. I will be giving liquid calcium two times a day, cod...
