hello!
I just wanted to share my success story with dubias :p
Recently due to sold out rooms  i had to build a new roach motel
I always keep water crystals full there is always something for them to eat
keep the heat on and it naturally dark and there should be no problem...
Fill this out Winston and then we can start from there :)
Cage Info:
* Cage Type - Describe your cage construction (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
* Lighting - What brand, model, and type of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
*...
In my opinion i would not use any form of drift wood from the water only because its rotten and water logged that is just my opinion :p
What i did to save lots of money was find an dying tree break a few different size limbs off whatever i wanted...
Then I first took a small axe and...
2 100w heating bulbs damn that is hott YOU ONLY NEED ONE 60-70 watt incandescent HOUSE BULB for that age of chameleon!
and you said 5.0 uvb uva? what brand is that light and is it a linear tube light?
I know its confusing been there  but its simple really just get a
Repti Sun 5.0
ALong with a linear fixture depending on what length bulb you get
And the handy clamp lamp for that regular house bulb and there ya go for starters
100w is pretty hott especially when it "sits on the cage mesh" and 4 inches IMO is too close for that young of veiled and the fact its a
12"x 9"x 24" cage. A 60-70 watt regular housebulb would suffice at this time.
you said
I'm debating buying a new cage since LLL Reptile has a huge one...
I have used nothing but mesh flexariums or whatever they are called. And have had all but one problem drainage! It took me a while but i finally had a custom made 2'x2'x2' plexi glass drainage system and a wide enough table or base for it to sit on. I found you can easily modify them if you find...
That definatley doesnt look normal....Im not an expert but i know for a fact you should change that repti glo 10.0 to a reptisun 5.0 linear tube. Compacts cause eye issues. Wait till someone else chimes in :o
