DIY Potting your Carnivorous pitcher plant

Personal opinion really, just a precaution. Setting it on top of the cage would suffice.

DIY Potting your Carnivorous pitcher plant

I wouldnt recomend putting it inside the cage. As far as that genus goes I have no idea what they require to thrive.

why did i ever bother? (may offend)

I feel you Aaron on this. In the chameleon world keeping them captive is nothing but a money pit and yeah one thing after another right? If you can just imagine the life you save and the beauty that comes along with it the rewards are endless. Statistically most chameleons in the wild wont live...

DIY Potting your Carnivorous pitcher plant

I would only suggest you keep them by a window and always submerged in water. Plants and trees can be taken care of inside without problems. Over watering and under watering are the main causes dying. Proper aeration is essential to a potted plant/trees survival.

    Drying Scab.

If at all possible take a Q tip and apply a liberal amount of neosporin. Thats after you clean it with some warm fresh water. Thats what i have done in the past just to be safe

    Drying Scab.

    Drying Scab.

For the scab if its not too close to the mouth use neosporin. as far as eating goes maybe double check his basking temps and hydration. And its ok if he takes his time as long as he gets it down. :)
