Chameleons know not to eat toxic insects. One time I caught a white butterfly and a Monarch butterfly. I placed both in the cage. The cham immediately ate the white one and would not even look at the Monarch.

I though of that. However, I also store some electric tools in that house. I would think if anyone who might still the chameleon would also still the tools. Also I keep the gates to the backyard locked at all times.
So I keep my Jackson chameleon in small guest house. It is basically one room with a door and 3 windows. Last several days it was really hot here in South Cal and the temp in the guest house was around 100 if not more . During the day I had the door of the house open and the huge industrial fan...
Take the sticks, place them on the backing sheet and put the sheet in to the oven. Set the oven to 300 degrees and bake for about 20 min. That should be enough.
