Dayna, sorry to hear about your loss. That always stinks, however knowing your skill its a safe bet that they all had the best care possible and nothing you could have done would have made a difference. Because of you I have a Tortoise that is alive and well!
Thats funny, same with my guy - I figured they would love horns and silks, NOPE! He won't even give them a second look. Dubai and Crickets are his favorite.
I forgot to put my gut loading bin up and somebody was still hungry today. HAHA :D
Holy thread resurrection batman! Oh man, I miss Roo, Heika too! Not many old timers left.
Feeding bowl for a pygmy chameleon? Probably not as most food items you feed a pygmy will bounce out and they are not any sort of fast to get to the bowl before they bounce out. Never hurts to try though.
Bio Bubble products are usually cheap made in China CRAP. A long back story on the people that own the company that I don't want to get into. I can't speak about the quality of this particular item. Sounds cool, but don't just on the awesome boat. Try it out first.
I have had to up my misting here in the dry Denver winter. Chameleons get a mist 3x a day and a drip probably 2x a week. I also have live plants in the cage which helps a lot. I found a really good reptile vet at the Aurora Animal Hospital.
I am really enjoying the weather but looking forward to summer. Took a trip up to Boulder the Friday - Today. Was going to stay till tomorrow however the snow messed that up. :-\
Snow tips that nobody ever told me. Shovel the drive right after it snows! Walking or driving on it will turn it to...
Very true - I have not updated the site in quite a while - however a new web site is currently getting worked on - she is an old girl but works just fine. The phone # is currently FUBAR as I am currently-ish in the middle of a move to CO. Email works just fine, and all orders usually ship in 2 days.
Another Colorado chameleon-ish keeper? Very good indeed... Where abouts in CO?
Coming from Vegas I was surprised how dry it is here with the Snow, bodies of water, rivers, ECT. Best I can figure its a combo of the cold and being near the sun!
I have had to increase the number...
