Im assuming your new to keeping chameleons so why dont you start off with what your doing so far for your new companion as far as lighting, watering, and feeding.
lol those bird have some good eyes to spot a lil cham. I also bring my cham outside with its entire cage since a red tailed hawk lives in the tree in my front yard. It really sucks when you come out to your car full of blood and feathers.
