Pablo (a perfectly healthy Ambilobe boy about 7 or 8 months old) poops only when I take him out of his cage. I take him out about once per week and he poops within the first 30 seconds. It's like he holds it in until I take him out.
He avoids pooping in his cage at all costs and recently I...
I was doing some cage maintenance yesterday and got Pablo really pissed when I woke him up by accident. here are the pics I got!
The last pic is to show what he look like in a normal day. I never knew that panthers get so dark colored. Is that normal?
At the bait shop today, I saw red worms and dew worms.
The red worms were really long, skinny and red but looked like earthworms.
The Dew worms looked like big fat earthworms.
Are either of these OK for Pablo?
I looked at the ingredients on the orange water cubes, they are full of chemicals and artificial colors.
Why do they need to add color to water? It just makes it unhealthy, just like processed foods for humans.
All those chemicals can't be good for chams. I give them water via apples...
Crickets get lots of moisture from the oranges and chams get lots of their water from the moisture content of their food, therefore oranges are good for preventing dehydration. (that's not a fact, that's simply my observation which I believe is correct!)
If the crickets are really small and...
Let's collaborate! Give your opinions on what vegetables/fruits are best to gut load crickets. I want to give Pablo the most variety of nutrition possible and hopefully other people can get inspired too as well share suggestions.
I use:
orange - my crickets seem to gravitate towards this...
