everything looks pretty good to me, but i dont know anything about plants... so they may be good, i just dont know, oh and your going to need a bigger cage soon, not yet but sooner than you think, believe me...:D
oh i thought you were talking about the mesh before... dont use fiberglass, right now i use stainless mesh on my cages, works great, but its 1/4 inch so crickets can get out way to easy to free roam, but the chams love it cause its easy to climb
you dont hear a lot about panthers older than 3ish but they can live for some time given proper care. I dont know for sure, but i dont think there is any reason you cant enjoy him for several years to come, maybe more. wish you the best!
chameleons, no, but my boa scared the poo out of me when i first got it, all 15 scary inches of him, now he's about 30 something inches long and i am completely unafraid except when it feeding time; watch your fingers.
