That's awesome glad to hear he has a good appetite! I'm sure he'll come around to eating the other bugs. Maybe just try leaving a few horn worms on a few vines inside his place? That's how I got my Cham to go for something new! He sure loves his crickets still...
Hey Zubi,
Sorry to hear about your predicament! I just wanted to say I would be willing to watch your cham and do the best I could if you are unable to find an easier option. As you know I'm not too far from your location and I don't think it would be too hard to relocate him for the couple...
I believe those are the ears... I've never heard of dragons having too many ear problems though! Seems like a major weak point in the dragon's defenses :p
Cyrus is one nice looking dragon!
If you plan on using a hibiscus in your enclosure I think that you'll definitely need more than just the t5 and the basking bulb. A basking bulb a uvb tube and atleast one grow tube; two would be better! I think a cage of that size needs a good amount of light for it not to look dark when...
I've been listening to these guys a lot. Super groovy and chill. I also listen to a lot of electronic stuff such as Tycho, Paper Diamond. Big fan of hip hop as well especially old school stuff... Nas, Gangstarr, Curren$y ect...
Millionyoung
I actually tried that this evening when I noticed him chomping on the pothos again... I put a piece of mustard green on top of the pothos hoping he'd taste it but no luck yet. I'll try again tomorrow.
I got the hibiscus at home depot actually. They might be sold out this late in the season...
The quality is much better! Thank you for sharing your videos. I love seeing them move in their natural environment. Thought it was really cool when you taped the chameleon basking on a far stretched limb off the side of the road... talk about living on the edge!
I live just outside the city of Chicago! Have family in San Diego as well. Had no idea so. cal. was such a cham friendly area. Although I should have known!
Thank you! I guess I'll let them nom out as much as they'd like then.
Here's another question: Should I keep my silkworms above room temperature? (70-75*) If yes, then is a low wattage bulb okay?
I made gutload ice cubes for the first time recently. Before spooning the stuff into the cube trays I just had to give it a try! Not bad at all! Although I will say I'm not too fond on mustards greens quite yet :p
So lately I've noticed Nasir has taken a real liking to eating the plants in his enclosure. Right now there is a umbrella golden capella, a golden pothos, bamboo, and a hibiscus.
Nasir has been chewing on his plants more and more. Mostly he chomps on the pothos plants and the hibiscus...
Hey everyone,
Got back from the local reptile expo and was able to get some appropriately sized silkworms from Lindas Gone Buggie! The hornworms were too big for my guy but I was happy that I could finally see if Nasir cared much for silkies. He did! Gobbled up atleast 10 of them which I...
I like using the bag method because I can pull the edges tight and count all the crickets. I take a very small pinch of supplements and shake them like crazy!
If you use a cup make sure to use one that's decently deep or many will hop out once you get them in. Put the bag or cup INSIDE of...
