He will readily eat out of my hand, but anytime my hand gets close with the intent to get him to crawl onto me, he gapes and hisses. I even tried today to trick him onto my hand with a treat. Is this just an adolescent thing? Seems to be very moody lately. Any help is appreciated.

Yesterday my male veiled only ate on mealworm when a few were available as well as a cricket. I'm afraid of him not eating enough and worry he may be too thin. Does he need to eat every day? And how much should he be eating? Another question I have is whether or not it is normal to see ribs...
Right now pascal is eating crickets. Got some meal worms and wax worms for the occasional treat. I tried putting them on a small plate at the bottom of the enclosure, but he didn't go for them. Could it be he was not hungry? And is there a better way to offer worms to a veiled?
