It is safe. I used normal saline to flush Opti's eyes when he was recovering from an eye infection. It is also great for a warm compress to help them open their eyes and provide symptomatic relief. Just stay clear of eye drops that contain alcohol, as this will exaserbate an already painfull...

Schefflera all the way. Big, plenty of foliage for cover, easy to care for, and sturdy branches. Pothos are great for hanging and seem to never die:) I took mine out over two months ago, and they are still growing on my back porch!!

Julirs, if I am not mistaken, is refering to the plastic shielding covering the buld. It reduces the amount of light and adds an asthetic appeal. It also completely nullifies the UVB penetration into the cage. Just remove the cover and your good to go. If you cannot find a fixture at Wallmart...

Thanks! I have a wireless security camera mounted on the wall by the closet. I just got done watching his antics during the day...... WOW!! I thought I was a busy boy! Everytime he was ready to eat a worm out his bowl the camera stopped recording. I did get a good shot of him shooting at a leaf...
