I commented on that cause someone stated that allowing young kids is dangerous cause they are most likely to get samonella. I was just stating why kids may get it easier then adults.
It is hit and miss. I have had so very nice chameleons and I have had one who would hiss and lunge at the cage if i walked by. the veiled i have now hisses and lunges at me but after i hold her for a bit she calms down. i think its all about their personality.

Samonella is a bacteria in the intestines. People get samonlla by ingesting something that has come in contact with feces. So basically if you keep you chameleons cage clean you are safe cause they only get salmonella on their skin if they are in a dirty cage.

Sorry I should have been more clear, she has never been breed before. She has laid 2 infertile clutches. One in November and one in March. The lady with the male says she breeds her females one month after they lay eggs.
