My veiled sleeps clung to the stock of her dracaena, so she's usually vertical. I have seen her sleep in many different positions and spots so Id say they like to sleep wherever and however they are comfortable at the moment they go to sleep.
I lose Shark all the time, I have over 40 plants in my house and she is so hard to find on them. She know has a favourite spot at the top of my 10ft tall dracaena, i think she likes it there cause she knows I can't get her down.
I take mine out all the time, she loves it. There are dogs and kids all around us and she doesn't seem to care. As long as the dogs aren't in your yard bugging your chameleon I'm sure it will be fine.
maybe he has come to depend on you guys to hold him, feed him and water him and it stresses and upsets him when you aren't. you may have to slowly wean him off your constant care. sometimes sick animals become dependant and can "fake" being sick to get the same attention. i have experienced this...
I am looking for a male veiled chameleon in canada or someone who can ship to canada. I am interested in adopting one who needs a home but i will also buy one.
