I understand what you are saying, but who is gonna pas on a free enclosure?
You can always do extensive research before you buy an animal, and still own the enclosure that is meant to house it.
Also, if you need to clean out your aquarium filter each month you need to get a bigger one.
Your biggest problem will be the ventilation if you want to put any reptiles in it, but with some minor adjustments such as placing a couple fans on it, it is possible to keep a whole range of animals in there.
Gecko's, anoles, poison dart frogs, tree frogs, ...
Oh my god, those guy's who did that deserve to be castrated and then burried alive in a colony of fire ants!
So sorry for your loss, wish we could help but i'm afraid they are not gonna turn up in Belgium.
I hope you get them back real soon and that they are well cared for in the mean...
I guess we do, but that's okay. :)
On the other hand, we don't completely disagree and might have been a bit fast with what we said, because you could be right, if it's changed in dictionaries it's correct.
But, i'm pretty sure it used to be "ter" for al plant organisms, and "viv" for animals.
Almost the whole world uses the term terrarium for the enclosure they keep their animals in now, even we do it ourself, but that still doesn't mean it's right.
People just use it in the wrong way, even Exo terra, and google too so it seems.
But on the other hand, as long as we understand...
This is correct.
Terrariums include only plants, if you add an animal it becomes a vivarium, if it has a smal waterfeature it's called a paludarium and if it has a large waterfeature it's a riparium.
Thanks, also for the advice. We did that, well not vines but some horizontal branches, and also hung up another plant so she will be able to climb even higher.
She yust seems to be alot more happy now she doesn't have to look at that screen anymore. :)
She is used to feed from a cup or from tongs.., and on the other hand, we are used to having crickets running around. Lol
She's also in another room than the rest of our animals, including the cat. :)
Only thing with her in the room are some of our gecko's, and she doesn't seem to mind them...
Crested and gargoyle gecko's don't need any special lighting other than a normal daylight bulb, so no UVB and heat lamps are required.
Golden gecko's, if you mean Gekko badenii with that also don't need UVB but they do need heat so a normal heat bulb would be sufficient.
If you don't reach the...
