only dead crickets? Are they any harm to live ones? Hell, if thats an easy way to rid my tub of cricket corpses without harming the live ones, I'm in! They wouldnt happen to have any cricket poop eating caterpillars would they?
6:15pm Shower via AquaZamp. Waldo literally ran to the mist nozzle. I mean it frightened me, I thought he was going to fall by missing a branch or grabbing an not so sturdy leaf he was moving so fast.
I seem to have water collecting on the bottom of my cage, before the water tub compartment. The middle section(before the tub compartment) has flat wood on 4 sides that stick out about 2" all the way around to attach grill grates to. It is then covered by aluminum mesh. Underneath is vinyl...
Amazing. Good job...Loved it.
For some reason I just get an image of Bethoven with his wild crazy hair going off on like a piano or something when I watch that!
nope, other then the fact that it scares the hell out of me cause he will wander off into the most abnormal places in his cage and leave it looking like we just had an inch of snow!
He did take awhile, I wasnt sure if it was something I wasnt doing right or if he was just a slow one. Turns on he was a slow one, or needed more exercise. Since the 3x the size of his old one cage, he's hit a big BooM! Then again, I have been trying to get him out in the normal temp weather...
I have about 19 dubai roaches left. My guy just has no appetite whatsoever for them. Or any roaches for that matter, besides, I wont be doing the hissing cockroaches ever again. Found them suckers all over the place....and I thought my cage was sealed...pssshh.
how long after 6 did you check the cage? I know my cage dries out easily after 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
AquaZamp is great, since getting it, my Waldo has a shower area where he puts himself 10 minutes before every mist cycle goes off. He never did that with the Monsoon, he would hide from it
As I mentioned yesterday, the shedding begins. He's being a little shy about this one(Aug 3rd)
Hanging out in the shower area, perfect spot to catch the outer band of mist (Aug 2nd)
Everyday at 11, 3, and 630pm he waits here
Zeus is going to put me in the hole on my bank account soon. I was fine with one beginner Veiled, but I want one of these now! Time to start the blueprints of the walk in closet free-range
my dusting problem (veiled) is mananging to get that "sprinkle" of dust on them. I always get too much and the crickets are pale white and I spend way too much time shaking the hell out of them until most comes off
not overkil at all. One nozzle is perfect, especially if you need mistings while away. Work is the only reason i bought a mister. I am away from my house for 24 hours, so the misting system saves my chams life pretty much.
I just wish I had an automated cricket releasing machine so I...
I can't speak for the MistKing as I've never owned one, there are plenty here who do and could explain. but I do own an AquaZamp and the difficulty of setting up is no different than the monsoon. If you can use a screw driver to mount the pump, make a small hole in screen or wood to fit a...
i never had any problems with it, I'll admit that. The AquaZamp just has higher grade parts, it looks more professional than a it does a toy. The mist is noticeably more fine and the power is extremely noticable. Its more quiet, and it has upgradable parts.
