I've had him for almost 2 years now

It's a 75 Watt bulb. I have the lamp on top resting on the screen, but I touched the screen directly under the light and it didn't burn me at all. Do chameleons have more sensitive skin? I'll take a picture of how i have the lamp set up when i get home. Also maybe he crawled onto the ceiling...

yeah they gave him antibiotics after the surgery, and they didnt amputate the whole thing because not all of it was sticking out. and yeah now i know, this is my first pet chameleon so i dont know much about them but i learned alot after this incident

yeah the vet really knew alot about chameleons. and overall i think it all costed around $350

took my chameleon to the vet, it turned out he had a hemipenal prolapse. he had surgery at 5 pm today and he's gonna be fine, we're picking him up tomorrow and the vet said other than that he's a very healthy chameleon :D
