This Ambilobe breeding pair is from Kammerflage Creations. The male is 1 year old and sire was "Menadivey." The female is 5 months old and also a proven blue barred red bodied ambilobe. This pair is unrelated. Also included in this package are 2 cages, 2 uv light setups, 2 basking light setups...
Very Cheap. I am asking only $20 and you get about 25 male and female dubias, lots of little ones, the 10 gallon tank they are in, and the heat pad.
Local pickup in Los Angeles, CA only.
She is showing gravid colors in the picture but you could try showing her to the male and see what she does. If she hisses and immediatly turns dark that means she is rejected the male and you can count on it that she is gravid. I personally use the trash can method for egg laying, but if you...
This female Ambilobe is GRAVID! I was going to try and hang onto her until she lays, which should not be for another 2-3 weeks, but the job I am starting soon just does not allow me to take care of my chams properly. She is a 2 year old ambilobe from screameleons sired by "Diablo." She is...
Don't use fish flakes, not exactly sure why it is not good to feed your chameleon crickets gutloaded with fish food, but I know it is not good for them. Try cricketfood.com if you are looking to buy a commercial gutload. Or make your own, Celery (for water), carrots, apples, and oranges work great.
Some times they don't go for a couple days. Usually the younger ones go daily, but from 6 months-1 year they sometimes go every other day or less. My 1 year old usually goes 1 time every 3 days, sometimes 4 days. My female the same age goes 1 time a day. Nothing to be worried about at this...
Due to my misting system, my plants get soaked very frequently with water, and because of this the fungus gnat population for some reason has erupted in the last few weeks. How can I get rid of these little buggers without doing any harm to my chameleons?
Very well put mightyzug.
I thought there was an actual article about genetic weakness from cross breeding, guess not. Would have been cool though.
For the ugly panther picture, it seemed (to you) as if cross breeding resulted in ugly panthers. I guess you were just saying it could have...
No need to get so defensive, I just think that people should have the option to cross breed if they want, and know the right steps to properly documenting their new generations if they decide to.
Please show me the link to the genetic weakening, I find that very interesting. Also could you...
As long as people keep their lineages well documented it is fine and will not be a headache to anyone. The only problem with cross breeding is that people sometimes do not document these lineages. i really enjoy cross breeding because of the amazing colors you can get. The kammers have a purple...
If I am not mistaken, someone on this forum had a similar problem to this. I think the cure was the vet gave them some sort of acupuncture shot type thing and he immediatly released his poop. This of course is if the problem is impaction and not MBD related problems.
Personally I like it. The only problem is if people cross breed two different morphs and don't keep records of it and then sell you a "Nosy Be" when it really is a "Nosy Be crossed with a Ambilobe." I really like it though, I like the cool new colors you get.
Yes you should put the whole plant in the cage. Your chameleon may or may not eat the flower depending on his or her personality and type of chameleon (for example veild vs. panther). BEFORE you put the plant in the cage you should soak it "head" first in a tub of soapy water for about 10...
summoner12...Holy! That misting system looks pretty intense, almost like it could supply water to a city block. My promist 60 and the home depot 5 gallon bucket that sits next to it looks like nothing compared to your watering system.
